Weekends can be about so much more than the usual movie-nightclub-brunch scene. Why not escape the grime of the city to Camp Silver Sands at the banks of the Ganga, just 5 hours from Delhi? The highlight of this adventurous weekend is of course white water rafting and kayaking. But that’s not where the fun ends. You can also put your hiking boots to good use, take a leap of faith as you go rappelling, play some volleyball at base camp and then listen to the crickets and watch the stars as you unwind over a BBQ campfire.

	What to Wear : T-shirts and shorts for Raft and Camp; Jersey/Warm jacket for Camp only; Two pairs of footwear (one each for Raft and Camp). No hard soles please. Sandals will do if worn tight.
	Additional Information : Day 1 Depart Delhi and arrive at Camp after lunch for check-in. Volleyball or kayaking in the afternoon. Day 2 After breakfast, raft down an adventurous stretch of the Ganga whitewater, along rapids like Three Blind Mice, Bodysurfing and Roller Coaster, ending near Laxman Jhula. Hot lunch at camp, followed by kayaking, volleyball or a hike. Campfire and BBQ. Day 3 After breakfast, drive to Kaudiyala and raft down Daniel's Dip and The Wall. Hot lunch at Camp. Depart for Delhi. Price includes taxes but does not include transportation to Camp and back, travel-related fees, extra meals, personal items and services, emergency medical evacuation charges and tips.
