How do I select the perfect gift?
Selecting the right gift is a subjective and personalized process but Lamhe has some tools to help you. To help you choose, Lamhe enables you to explore our catalogue by category, by occasion or by price. Don't worry—even if you don't get it exactly right, our generous exchange policy allows your recipient to easily reserve an alternative that works for them.

Do I have to live in India to give a gift?
No. Lamhe is open to anyone in the world who wants to send a gift to their loved ones in India.

How far in advance do I need to buy a gift?
If you're aiming to gift someone a surprise on a particular date, the sooner you can buy the gift the better. But if you need to rush a gift delivery, let us know during the order process and we'll try to work with you to make it happen. You  can also request in advance that a gift be delivered on a particular date.

How do I pay for the gift?
The easiest and quickest way to buy a gift is right here on this website. We have linked up with CCAvenue, India's leading online payment gateway to make the payment process safe and secure for you. CCAvenue enables you to make payments using your credit card (Visa or American Express), debit card or bank account. Payments via MasterCard will be made available shortly; please bear with us.

How can I make my gift extra special?
Our gifts are pretty cool to begin with, but if you'd like to make them even more special, you can request some premium services with your gift. For example, you can request that your gift be delivered in an elegant, festive, exclusive gift box that your recipient will treasure. You can include a personalized message to go along with the box.

What happens once I buy the gift?
Once your payment has been accepted, in most cases that's all you need to do. Depending on the options you choose, Lamhe will deliver your gift to the recipient electronically or in a festive gift box. Electronic delivery is immediate and gift boxes should be delivered within 48 hours of your payment, by a courier service. Some gifts, like gift boxes and flowers, will not generate electronic gift notifications and will simply be delivered directly.

In the event you need to give us rush delivery instructions, please include them in the Notes section while placing your order. Otherwise, sit back and wait for the surprise to unfold. A delighted reaction from the gift recipient should serve as confirmation that they have received the gift!
 
Are there any restrictions to be considered before I select a gift?
Some Lamhe experiences may be subject to certain restrictions such as age, health, height or weight. These restrictions are specified by Lamhe's delivery partners for the safety of our customers. Details on any applicable restrictions will be provided with other details of a gift, including applicable cancellation policies. Take a moment to think about any of the listed restrictions that may apply to the recipient before selecting that gift.
 
Do I have to specify a date on which the experience must be experienced by my recipient?
No. Once a gift recipient has received your gift, they have six months to reserve an experience on a date that is convenient for them. Only the initial contact to reserve a gift must happen within six months; the gift itself may be experienced beyond this period if our delivery partners permit it.
 
In which cities do you offer your gifts?
Lamhe currently operates only in Mumbai but we plan to roll out our unique service to other cities in the near future. If you order gifts to be shipped to cities outside Mumbai, we may charge you an additional shipping charge. If you want to speed up Lamhe's arrival in your city, drop us a note to encourage us to get there faster!

What are the delivery timings for gifts?
In Mumbai deliveries will be made between 11 am and 7 pm by Lamhe's staff. Delivery requests for a specific time during these hours is subject to availability of staff. Delivery requests for a specific time before/after these hours is subject to an additional charge of Rs.150.
  
For deliveries outside of Mumbai, Lamhe has tied-up with a third-party service to deliver the gifts. Delivery hours are 11 am to 7 am ONLY.

If You've Just Received a Gift From Someone
 
I have just received a Lamhe gift. How do I redeem it?
A big hooray to you on receiving this gift! Redeeming your gift is easy—use our reservation form or contact us by phone to reserve your experience. We will need your preferences for suitable dates and we will coordinate with our delivery partners to make the experience happen for you. We will provide you with directions and other essential information regarding the experience.
 
Please remember to contact us to reserve the gift within six months after you receive it. Once you have reserve it, you may actually experience the gift at your convenience, even past the six-month period.
 
What is the Redemption Code on my gift?
Lamhe works with a network of delivery partners to arrange gift experiences for you. When you are about to experience your gift, please provide our delivery partner with the Redemption Code when they request it from you. The Redemption Code is a way for us to know that you have made contact with our delivery partner and have actually experienced your gift. Until you begin your gift experience, please don't give out your Redemption Code to anyone but Lamhe's customer service. 
 
I love the gift-giver, but not this gift. Can I exchange it for another one?
Of course! We want you to have the experience that suits you best. Simply tell Lamhe's customer service of your preferred alternative and we will reserve it for you. We ask that you choose an alternative experience of equal or lower value than the original gift given to you. If a lower value gift is chosen, we will send you a Lamhe gift certificate for the remaining amount for use at a future date. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a higher-value gift by paying the difference yourself directly to our delivery partner.
 
Can I upgrade my gift so that someone else can take part with me?
Most definitely! Simply let Lamhe's customer service know. We'll need to get the additional person’s information as needed and charge you for the upgrade over the phone. Alternatively, you can buy an additional gift online on Lamhe for family, friends, colleagues or loved ones and then reserve your dates together.
  
Can I redeem my gift by taking it along to any local venue of my choice?
At this time, gifts can only be redeemed via Lamhe's network of delivery partners. If you'd like us to bring in a delivery partner of your choice, do contact us with a gift suggestion. We would love to get your input.
  
Can I transfer my experience to someone else?
Unfortunately we are not able to transfer gift experiences to others. How about browsing our catalogue and purchasing an upgrade to your gift and experiencing it with a loved one?
 
What if I need to reschedule an existing reservation?
If you have already reserved a gift experience and need to reschedule it, let us know and we'll work with that gift's delivery partner to reschedule you for a different date. Because of agreements with our delivery partners, we must let them know about reschedule requests typically within 24-48 hours of the reservation (you can find this information in the details of the gift online or in your gift box). If you are unable to contact us within this time to reschedule, Lamhe will exchange your gift for a gift certificate of equal value. Please note that we are unable to accommodate more than two reschedule requests after a reservation has been made.
 
What if I need to cancel an existing reservation?
Every gift comes with an cancellation policy stated with its details. If you cancel your gift reservation giving us sufficient notice period, you will receive a Lamhe gift certificate of equal value for use at a future date. If you're unable to contact us within this time to cancel your reservation, we are unable to issue you a gift certificate for that amount because of agreements with our delivery partners.

If You Want to Make a Wishlist

What is a wishlist?
Wishlists are a unique feature of Lamhe that enable you to anticipate the gifts you'll receive for a special occasion. Is  a wedding, golden anniversary or another once-in-a-lifetime occasion in the cards for yourself or a loved one? Take the guesswork out of the gifting process by choosing gifts from Lamhe's catalogue to put on a Lamhe wishlist. Any well wisher who is giving you a gift for the occasion can see from the wishlist which gifts you're anticipating and buy those, ensuring that you only get gifts and experiences you really want.
 
I like the idea of letting my well wishers know what gifts I want but I'm feeling shy about asking for gifts. What can Lamhe do for me?
You can be the beneficiary of a Lamhe wishlist even if you don't create it yourself. You can ask your parents, close relatives or friends to create a Lamhe wishlist on your behalf and they can invite you to take full control of the wishlist. It won't seem like you are demanding gifts from your well wishers but you'll still be able to specify exactly which gifts you want.
  
Can I invite others to change my wishlist?
From a wishlist's Manage page, you can invite as many people as you want to help out with your wishlist. They can add, remove and change item quantities if needed.
  
What if every gift on my wishlist is out of my well-wisher's budget?
We understand that not all gifts from our catalogue may be within every gift giver's budget. This is why Lamhe wishlists enable a gift giver to make a contribution of any amount towards a gift on your wishlist. For example, if all gifts on your wishlist cost over Rs 5,000, your well-wisher can contribute Rs 100, Rs 500 or any amount that is right for them towards a wishlist item.
 
What if my well-wishers just wish to give cash?
You can also instruct your well-wishers to make you a cash gift, i.e. a contribution towards a wishlist, but not necessarily towards a particular item.
           
What is the advantage of using a wishlist?
Using Lamhe wishlists will enable you to let your well-wishers know exactly which gifts you would like to receive, especially for once-in-a-lifetime occasions like weddings, milestone birthdays or anniversaries. By letting them know, you will avoid the problem of unwanted or duplicate gifts. Because Lamhe wishlists also enable gift givers to send cash, you can use a Lamhe wishlist as a single point for receiving all gifts--even gifts that are not in Lamhe's catalogue. We know it can be hard accounting for who gave which gifts after a major special occasion. Lamhe wishlists offer you a way to track exactly how much each of your well-wishers contributed in gifts. 
 
What happens after someone buys an item that is on my wishlist?
Your well-wishers can buy full or partial items on your wishlist. Once an item on your wishlist has been fully paid for, a Redeem button will appear next to the item on the wishlist when you view it. You can begin the process of reserving that gift experience by clicking on the Redeem button.
 
What if there are items on my wishlist that aren't fully paid for?
We understand that because Lamhe allows partial contributions towards gifts on wishlists, not all gifts will necessarily be fully paid. Partially paid wishlist items and any other cash contributions towards a wishlist can be collected by you when you close a wishlist. When you close a wishlist, your well-wishers can no longer make contributions towards the wishlist. All outstanding cash can be collected by you in the form of a Lamhe gift certificate or for a small fee, as a cheque.

If  a wedding, golden anniversary or another once-in-a-lifetime occasion is in the cards for a loved one, wishlists let you take the guesswork out of the gifting process by showing you which gifts the recipient of the wishlist is anticipating. When you buy those gifts, you ensure that the recipient of the gift will really want and treasure whatever you give.
 
What if the items on a wishlist are beyond my budget?
We understand that the items that a beneficiary requests on their wishlist may be outside your budget. This is why Lamhe gives you a choice between paying for a wishlist item in full or making a partial contribution towards a wishlist item.
 
What if I don't know which wishlist item to contribute to or if I don't like any of the wishlist items?
You are always free to make a cash contribution directly to a wishlist by clicking on Give Cash. This contribution isn't towards any particular wishlist item but towards a common pool of money that will go to the beneficiary of the wishlist.
